It is a fine laptop. But I would recommend DELL Inspiron series.

Go with the Macbook. For performance and security, the macbook is MUCH better than these laptops running windows.
You also get a student discount and free printer now:

Honestly, it really is in preference. I have had a macbook for a year now, and I love it, but personally, I find the windows operating system easier to use, even though if is a little bloated. For performance, even macs have viruses, so you want to get an antivirus either way. For best performance and security, you should try installing Linux and the laptop you get, it seems to be the most secure modern operating system, and boasts high performance, even on slow systems, however it can be hard to switch if you are a native windows user.

get a lenovo, the mackbooks are gonna rip u off. i have both if them, and the lenovo is better for many reasons. the mack makes u buy all the seperate icons for more expensive prices, and they all come seperately, unless with a lenovo, they all come for free, icons are microsoft word and stuff. also, mackbooks are not compatible with anything microsoft, so it will be worse for your usb drive, because you cant plug your usb drive into anything except another mack. because they use something different than microsoft stuff. also, the mack will be much harder to use with the internet, because you first need to buy itunes on your comp, if you wanna play any music. the mack uses a safari icon instead of the internet, the safari is better though, cuz it blocks all/most of the pop ups!!! but if you want a labtop with a nice screen and everything, get a mack, but if you want something with more use, and more compatability, get a lenovo....trust me, get a lonovo!!!

Comment on Will the integrated Intel HD Graphics on the lenovo K320-30192MU @ best buy support dual monitors? by C-Man

No.... computers with integrated graphics only have a single display port. Even most models with factory-installed low-end graphics cards (like Dell, HP etc) get OEM versions of the cards with just a single VGA or DVI port, even if the card normally has two.

The Lenovo K320-30192MU is no exception- click on the 360 degree spin icon (directly under the picture) to see the back view, including a single VGA port.

Anyway, adding a low-end graphics card like a Radeon 5450 or GeForce 210 would give you dual-monitor support. The Lenovo's 250 watt power supply can't handle anything higher-end.
